We provide customised research and commissioned surveys on behalf of organisations requiring specialised information not readily available in the market.

Sometimes you might require bespoke analysis that meets your unique business requirements. Given the depth and breadth of our information, we are able to provide customised data selections based on what you need. 
 
As is the case with all our remuneration reports, information submitted to us for bespoke analysis is kept strictly confidential. All data is collated and aggregated within a secure environment and results are not attributable to any individual role or organisation.  This strict confidentiality extends to the party commissioning the report and we will not share any individual data submissions or details with anyone outside our organisation.
 
Some of the more recent bespoke projects we are proud to have worked on are detailed below.
 
Property Industry – Remuneration and policies
 
Strategic Pay was commissioned by a leading New Zealand property development and investment company to undertake a bespoke remuneration survey. The research focused on property specific roles within the property industry to gain a better understanding of current market salary rates. 
 
All direct participating organisations received a complimentary copy of the research findings.
 
The specific objectives of the project were:
  • To gain market intelligence on remuneration packages (quantum and components) offered to specified roles in the identified areas
  • To gain information on specific employment policies and practices

Uniquely, this bespoke Strategic Pay report offered different approaches to establishing the most appropriate job match for organisations roles. In addition to the collated remuneration data from organisations who participated in this survey we also provided market data on non-property roles from our corporate services and executive management report, which is based on medium to large private sector organisations.
 
 
Sport Industry - CEO Remuneration and recruitment practices
 
Strategic Pay was commissioned by Netball New Zealand to undertake a bespoke remuneration survey. Particular interests were practices and policies operating within the five Netball New Zealand Zones relating to CEO remuneration, performance measures, and recruitment.
 
All five of the Netball New Zealand zones participated in the survey.
 
The specific objectives of the project were:
  • To gain insight into CEO remuneration and employment practices
  • To gain insight into CEO recruitment policies and practices
  • To gain insight into Board fees and workload
 
Banking Industry - Senior Executive Remuneration and benefit analysis
 
A large local corporate bank commissioned Strategic Pay to undertake a bespoke remuneration survey.  Of particular interest was CEO and Senior Executive (T1 – T3) roles within the banking industry, where current market salary data is limited. 
 
The specific objectives of the project were:
  • To gain market intelligence on remuneration packages (quantum and components) offered to specified roles in the identified areas
  • To gain information on specific employment policies and practices
 
The report offered information based on remuneration data from participating banks as well as market data sourced from our wider CEO and Senior Executive Remuneration database in the financial institutions within New Zealand.
