Our Story

From Strategic Pay’s inception in 1994, we have become a proven provider of job evaluation and remuneration services, particularly with the integration of remuneration and performance systems.

In 2004 the Company merged with the remuneration consulting and survey division of PricewaterhouseCoopers (briefly managed by IBM New Zealand) and went on to acquire both Higbee Schäffler in November 2008 and Moyle Consulting in 2012 to form New Zealand’s largest, full service remuneration consultancy.

Our Pay Gap

We are a small organisation with a headcount of less than 50, however we believe transparency with regards to pay gaps is important and elected to report on our own pay gap to support the MindTheGap campaign.

As of the 1st of June 2025, we have a headcount of 46 staff with an overall median pay gap of 4.1% showing that we have a slight pay gap in favour of Males.
