The published survey contains comprehensive remuneration information by Job Size (Grades and SP10 points) and by Benchmark Job analysis for 38 key benchmarks in the following functional areas:
- Museum Roles
- Facilities Support
- Marketing / Events
*Hospitality benchmark job pages have been provided from Strategic Pay’s New Zealand Benchmark Remuneration Report 2023.
Some insights found in the report include:
- Voluntary turnover of employees in participating organisations has decreased slightly from 23.3% last year but remains high at 22% this year.
- The overall weighted market movement by job function is higher than last year, reporting at 4.2% for base salary, 4.4% for fixed remuneration and 4.3% for total remuneration. This sample represents all incumbents employed in the museum-specific benchmark jobs surveyed.
- The median forecast remuneration increase for the next 12 months is 5.0% for Senior Management and General Staff, up from the 2.5% and 3.0% (respectively) forecast last year.
