Cathy Hendry is the Managing Director of the proudly New Zealand owned and operated Strategic Pay and a seasoned remuneration professional with over 17 years’ experience in the industry. Having led Strategic Pay since 2021, Cathy brings invaluable experience and insight to her role. Her leadership ensures the continuity of Strategic Pay’s strategic vision for growth, and her intimate knowledge of the business and clients provides a solid foundation for sustained success. 

As a dedicated advocate for pay equity, Cathy’s commitment to this cause has seen her actively engage with organisations such as MindTheGap and promoting research and analysis on Pay Gaps within New Zealand contributing significantly to the ongoing discourse on achieving pay equity and promoting fairness and equality within remuneration practices.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Cathy remains deeply connected to the Tauranga community. Currently raising her two children in the Bay of Plenty, she delights in spending quality time with them—whether it’s riding horses, unwinding at the beach, or hitting the slopes of Mount Ruapehu.
