Gill Hopkins

Gill is an experienced Consultant who has worked with a range of private and public sector clients. Her professional expertise span an array of people management practices and her experience includes organisational design and effectiveness, work measurement, remuneration/reward, performance management, and leadership/talent management.

Prior to joining Strategic Pay Gill was Hay Group New Zealand’s Director of Leadership and Talent practice and worked in New Zealand, the Pacific, Asia, and the UK. Prior to joining Hay Group Gill held human resources/organisational development and business development roles in both private and public sector organisations including a senior leadership role for a FMCG company.

As an HR practitioner with more than 20 years practical experience Gill works collaboratively with clients on the implementation of HR interventions that are aligned to, and support business strategy and objectives. She has assisted many senior leaders and their teams to improve their effectiveness and to create organisational climates that motivate and encourage high standards of performance. Much of her work has been cross cultural building on her experience of working in the UK, Asia and the Pacific.
